E. Rossi on the corner of Grand and Mulberry Street in Little Italy, New York City, closed down in 2005, a last vestige of a bygone era (watch Closing Time).  That's where Paul bought the sheet music with this piece.  On a good day the old Mr. Louie Rossi could sometimes be persuaded to go down in his basement and bring out some of the mandolin trio music that had been gathering dust there for many decades.  La Più Bella was composed by G. B. la Scala who is otherwise unknown to us.
