The ART! Houston, We have a Cover!

I've been negligent in updating this blog.  Last month I finished the recording part of the project. It's mixed and mastered and sounds fantastic!  The total time is 64:30.  This is the first project I have ever been truly happy with the sound of the dulcimer.  The Blanton Forte which I am using for the first time, records magnificently!  Huge thank you shout out to the Maryland State Arts Council and my apprentice through their grant, Chao Tian, that provided the funds for me to buy it.

April is the art month and my artist Orion Weiss is working diligently in trying to cater to my whims.  I will also work on a webpage with extended liner notes, including lyrics for some of the lullabies.

The Ashbrook Signature Hammers limited-time fundraiser, donated by Ron & Dawn Jordon of Wolf Hill Woodworking has raised a chunk of money.  There are still 9 pairs of hammers left that will remain available through June 8th.  For $55 you can receive a beuatiufl pair of my hammers and a download of the new recording!
