Recording is going well. Fundraising could be better.

Paul joined me in the studio to record 2 of his 3 sets mid-January and I also spent a day recording solo sets. “The Dream Passes By the Windows” is a haunting Ukrainian lullaby Paul plays on.  I now have 9 out of 14 sets recorded.  I still need to add a flute and a whistle track on one of the sets I've recorded the dulcimer on.  My Blanton Forte dulcimer sounds fantastic, as does Paul's cittern and harp guitar.  Yay Charlie Pilzer!

I go back in to finish recording February 21-22.  Then it will be time to mix, master, and write liner notes.

Alas my third attempt at applying for the Maryland State Arts Grant still didn't make the cut.  I seriously added to the sections where they said I should be more specific, but competition is stiff and I didn't make it.  The process of applying for the grant though was worthwhile in itself.  It really helped me get organized, create a play list and timeline that I have kept to.

I'm too far into this to stop now!
